Maryland Department of Corrections allows you to send funds to an inmate using several methods. You will need to know the inmate's identification number and full name. Send money the following ways:
- Lockbox Deposit- Deposit money orders, and official business checks up to $250 (over $250 will have a 30 day hold). On the check or money order you must include the facility name or abbreviation, your full name and address, and make it payable to the inmate's full name and SID number. No fee is associated with this method.
- Access Corrections Secure Deposit - Deposit funds online through the AccessCorrections website. Fee's start as low as $2.95. You can send funds using a debit or credit card. You can also send funds over the phone by calling Access Corrections at 1-866-345-1884.
