Inmate Visiting Applications

Planning a Prison Visit?  We've got you covered.

Locate Your Loved One: Start by using our inmate search tool to find their current location.

Remember the Inmate's ID Number: The inmate's ID number is crucial. Keep it handy for everything from sending mail to applying for visits.

Apply for a Visit: Access and complete the state-specific visitor application for the facility your inmate is incarcerated in. Ensure accuracy to avoid delays.

Avoid Denial: Be aware of common reasons for denied visits, such as recent incarceration, being on probation, being the inmate's victim, or if you have outstanding warrants.

Expect a Wait: The review process can take up to six weeks. Be patient, especially around the holidays which tend to be busy times.

Stay in Touch: Inmates usually carry the responsibility of notifying prospective visitors of approval or denial. Stay connected through phone calls or letters.

Find Your State's Application: Access state-specific visitor applications below. Note that some applications may be samples only and need to be requested directly from the inmate.  Additionally, unavailable applications are denoted in grey.
