Description of Facility
Anvil Mountain Correctional Complex houses male and female inmates ranging from minimum to maximum/close security levels. Considered a regional facility, Anvil Mountain acts as both a pre-trial booking, and long term sentence institution. This correctional institution has the capacity to house 128 inmates.
Inmates who are incarcerated at Anvil Mountain can participate in a wide array of education programs. They can earn a GED while incarcerated, can learn the basics of computers and typing, as well as many vocational studies like heater maintenance and repair, classes for obtaining a commercial drivers license test, first aid, marine survival courses and more.
