Hutchinson Correctional Facility is the second largest facility in the state for adult male inmates with the ability to house 1,788 offenders. It accommodates inmates across four custody levels: maximum, special management, medium, and minimum. The facility includes the main custody compound within the walled area, a minimum-security unit outside the walls, and a medium custody unit slightly over a mile east of the main facility. The facility features fifteen living units offering open bay dormitory-style housing and a single cell housing unit with 100 segregation cells. Units include the Central Unit, the East Unit (low to medium custody), and the South Unit (minimum custody)
