Offenders housed in the Alabama Department of Corrections can receive the letters and 3"x5" photos in the mail.  You will need to know your inmate's full committed name and their ID number.  It will also help if you have their dormitory and bed number for mail.

Alabama DOC participates in an electronic e-messaging program that allows you to send an electronic message (for a fee) using your computer or phone through Securus Technologies.

Additionally, offenders are allowed to receive quarterly packages, also known as incentive or seasonal holiday packages during the year.  These contain a variety of selectable items, from food and hygiene products to clothing and electronics.  All of the items offered are pre-approved through the Alabama Department of Corrections.  You can order these packages online for your offender here through Access Securepak Alabama.

Alabama Department of Corrections participates in an inmate footwear package program that allows offenders to receive pre-approved footwear packages from Union Supply Direct.  You can order online and find out more about this program here.
