Sending Money to an Inmate in Georgia

   Georgia Department of Corrections allows friends and family members who are on the inmate's approved visitors list to send money to an inmate in several ways.  You will need to know the inmate's GDC ID Number.

  • By Mail:  Obtain a Postal Money Order, and print/fill out a JPAY Money Order Voucher form
    • Mail this completed voucher and money order to:
      JPAY
      P.O. Box 246570
      Pembroke Pines, FL 33024
    • Allow up to two weeks for the deposit to credit
  • Online: You can send money online through the JPAY website
  • By Telephone:  Send money to an inmate by calling 1-800-574-5729
  • In Person:  Send money by visiting a MoneyGram location, this includes CVS and Walmart.  Use the following:
    • If your inmate is in Georgia DOC use receiver code: 6857
    • If your inmate is on Georgia Probation use receiver code: 6901
