Winslow Arizona State Prison Complex is made up of four units; Apache (334 minimum custody inmates), Coronado (492 inmates), Kaibab Detention(39 inmates), and Kaibab unit (800 inmates).
Each of these units offers educational and work programs. Inmates can learn vocational skills such as kitchen, painting, welding, plumbing, fire crew, and more. All of the units require the inmates be proficient in literacy, if not they will have a literacy course. The units also offer all inmates GED preparation courses.
Minimum custody offenders are allowed to participate in work crews that provide labor to the surrounding communities working on wildfire crews, and landscaping. Additionally, this facility operates a correctional industry in which carpentry skills are used to produce trusses.
