Autry State Prison, situated in Pelham, Georgia, within Mitchell County, is a medium security facility that accommodates around 1698 adult male felons. Inmates reside in four open dormitories with bunks, while a separate building houses beds for protective custody and segregation inmates. Additionally, three units are triple bunked and six buildings contain two living units with 96 beds in each. Georgia Department of Corrections requires all visitors complete a visitors application and be approved before visiting. Start by doing the following:
- All visitors regardless of age must fill out a visitors application.
- You must gather and submit a copy of all the documents required in the application, this includes a valid government issued photo ID.
