Correctional Institution for women sits on 120 acres and houses up to 2,392 female inmates of all custody levels, from level I to level IV. This facility also provides inpatient and outpatient mental health services.
Inmates have a variety of programming available to them depending on their security level. Substance abuse programs, pre-prelease programs and vocational programs are all provided to inmates including a pre-forestry and camp training. Inmates at this facility can be selected to join the female firefighters who work out of the conservation camp.
