California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility opened in 1997. It is an adult male facility that houses inmates from minimum to maximum security, levels I to IV. The facility is separated into four complexes with two facilities in each complex.
Complex I (dormitory design) contains facilities A, B, and the short term restricted housing unit. Complex II contains facility C and Central Services. Complex III contains facilities D and E. Complex IV contains facilities F and G. Each of these complexes is self sufficient, having it's own programs, services, administration staff, canteen, visiting room, chapel, vocational and work programs.
Select inmates can work in a food and beverage packaging center through the Prison Industries program. Vocational studies are available to inmates in HVAC, automotive repair, electrical, plumbing, welding, masonry, and electronics.

This is the California Visiting Questionnaire form and it must be signed by the inmate before you can fill it out and send it back to the facility at the inmate mailing address and add: "Attention: Visiting".
