Hamilton Aged and Infirmed Center is a medium custody prison that specializes in providing the unique needs of older aged male inmates. This facility helps provide the specialized medical attention, security, and support that is needed to incarcerate older offenders. Currently Hamilton Correctional houses 247 inmates, who are provided medical support services from healthcare professionals.

This facility houses minimum to medium security inmates who are considered aged or have a weakness or illness that effects the mind or body. Medical treatments and palliative care is given at this facility and some minimum security inmates help in the day to day operations that take place.

Visiting hours for this facility are unknown, and may require advanced planning/appointments. Be sure to call the facility before attempting for visit.

Every visitor over 15 years of age is identified by finger scan and identification card. Additionally, you may have to walk through a metal detector or hand held scanner. Some facilities will utilize a UV ink/stamp which goes on the back of the hand and changes daily, this is scanned on exit to ensure no inmates try to sneak out with visitors.
