The Mayo Correctional Institution Annex is a level 5 facility housing close, medium, minimum, and Community custody inmates. The Annex includes two secure housing units and six open bay dormitories. The maximum capacity of Mayo Correctional Institution Annex is 1,345 adult male offenders.
Inmates are provided academic programs that enable them to receive an adult basic education and earn a GED. A vocational program at Mayo CI teaches inmates to be an energy technician. Additional programs are provided through the Chaplains office that include various faith based services and studies.
