South Bay Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility is a privately owned prison managed under a contract with the GeoGroup. The institution can house up to 1,948 male adult offenders. Inmates are housed in buildings A, B, C, D, G, and H. Each include four double occupancy cellblock-housing units each of which can house 250 inmates (G and H can house 296 inmates). In addition, South Bay Correctional contains a segregation unit that has the capacity to house 76 inmates.
Vocational programs provided at this prison include carpentry, culinary arts, hospitality/tourism, environmental services, and a virtual welding technology.
