Tomoka Correctional Institution is located in Daytona Beach Florida. Established in 1981, Tomoka CI houses 1,192 adult male inmates of community, minimum, medium, and close custody. The main facility houses inmates in nine separate housing units, these include both open bay dormitory units and two living units with double occupancy cells, additionally a single unit is utilized for confinement.
While incarcerated at Tomoka CI inmates can take vocational courses in landscaping/turf management, carpentry, and masonry. The P.R.I.D.E. program provides training in heavy vehicle operations.
